MiniGUI Components

On the core interface of MiniGUI, we also provide a number of components for the applications. These components would provide some special features for the applications:

• Input method component: mGi. mGi offers support for softkey, handwriting, and the predictive text input method for embedded devices. Please see Figure 1 in the right sidebar.
• Printing component: mGp. mGp provides a printing engine for applications based on MiniGUI so that the applications using mGp will have the printing function. At present, mGp provides printing support for Epson, HP and some other printers.
• 3D component: mG3d. mG3d is a simple 3D rendering library for applications based on MiniGUI. By using this library, you can render 3D objects in your applications. Please see Figure 2 in the right sidebar.
• mGUtils provides users with a number of common dialog templates. By using these templates, users do not have to write codes repeatedly for some common functions. These function templates include open/save file dialog, color selection dialog, font selection dialog, information dialog, and so on. Please see Figure 3 in the right sidebar.
• mGPlus is a component that expands and strengthens MiniGUI graphics function. It mainly provides support for 2D vector graphics and advanced graphics algorithm, such as the path, gradient filling, anti-aliases, color composition, and so on. Please see Figure 4 in the right sidebar.
